Transportation

Nagarkot lays 30km east of Kathmandu. On the way there, you will cross the ancient Newar city Bhaktapur. By car, it takes about 1,5 hours from Kathmandu to reach our hotel. As an extra service, we can pick you up from the airport (and drop you off).

Sunrise view tower trip

For those who wish to get an even better view of the sunrise over the Himalayas, than they can get from the hotel. Half an hour before sunrise, a car leaves from the hotel to take those who want to come and see the view from the View Tower. This tower, in the army base camp, is the highest point in the valley. One can get magnificent views over immaculate sunrises over the whole Himalayan Range.
